Colombo: Pakistan-Afghanistan's third and final ODI clash will be played in Colombo today.

Following the decision to set up a practical plan for the third and decisive ODI against Afghanistan, the captain and coaching staff have made key decisions.

According to sources, Pakistan's playing XI could see up to four changes, indicating a strategic shift in the national team's approach after previous matches.

The management has also closely evaluated alterations within the bowling lineup.

Sources reveal that Saud Shakeel's inclusion in the playing XI has been confirmed.

Additionally, opportunities might arise for Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz, and Mohammad Waseem to contribute to the team's success.

Suggestions to rest Iftikhar Ahmed, Usama Mir, Nasim Shah, and Haris Rauf are also being considered.

The final decision regarding the bowling lineup will be made prior to the coin toss.

With today's third and final ODI match taking place in Colombo, Pakistan aims to clinch victory and potentially secure the top spot in the ODI rankings if they emerge victorious.

The series currently stands at 2-0, with Pakistan leading Afghanistan.
