Five killed in road accident in Sargodha

Sargodha: At least five people lost their lives in a tragic accident took place on the Lahore-Sargodha road near Ahmedwala on Saturday.

The latest reports said that two people got injured due to the accident which occurred when a high-speed truck collided with a van carrying family members.

Among the casualties were a woman and four men. The van was en route to Sargodha from Faisalabad when it was struck by the truck, and the truck driver managed to flee the accident scene.

In a separate incident in Toba Tek Singh, four individuals lost their lives, and ten others suffered injuries in a road accident.

The collision took place on Kamalia Road in Toba Tek Singh when a van collided with a tractor-trolley. Tragically, four people, including two women, lost their lives on the spot, while ten others sustained injuries. Following the accident, rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene, transporting the injured to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and the deceased to Rural Health Centre Rajana.
