British high commissioner calls on ECP chief

Islamabad: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott called on Chief Election Commissioner (ECP) Sikandar Sultan Raja on Wednesday.
Sources said that during the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to hold free and fair elections in the nation.
Furthermore, Sikandar Sultan Raja and Jane Marriott both agreed on the significance of fair elections that adhere to Pakistan's constitution.
The British high commissioner posted on the social networking site X, formerly known as Twitter, that she had an important initial meeting with the head of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), writing, "Important introductory meeting with Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja at @ECP_Pakistan today."
She continued in her statement, “We agreed that it’s crucial the country sees free, credible, transparent and inclusive elections in line with the law,”
