Fawad Chaudhry proposes changes in Government of Pakistan’s logo
Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has proposed changes in the government of Pakistan (GoP) logo.
Taking to twitter, the information minister suggested that jute and tea should be replaced with science and technology and education icons.
He further asked the graphic designers to send their ideas to him.
Adopted in 1954, the national emblem illustrates a crescent and star crest above a shield, which is surrounded by a wreath, below which is a scroll. The quartered shield in the center shows cotton, wheat, tea and jute, which were country’s major crops.
