NEPRA addresses dangers of high-voltage wires on railway tracks

Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notice raising concerns about the high voltage wires suspended over railway tracks, emphasizing the significant risks they pose to both railway employees and passengers.
In the notice, NEPRA questions the safety measures implemented by Pakistan Railways, DISCOs (Distribution Companies), and NTDC (National Transmission and Despatch Company).
NEPRA has issued a stern warning and directed NTDC, Railways, and DISCOs to prioritize and ensure passenger safety.
