£190 million case: Court rejects appeal for further physical remand of Imran Khan

The court rejected the request for physical remand and sent the PTI chief to judicial remand.

Rawalpindi: The Accountability Court Monday rejected the appeal of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for further physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Al-Qadir Trust property and 190 million pound case.

According to the details, the Accountability Court Rawalpindi Judge Muhammad Bashir heard the case in Adiala Jail.

The former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, sisters Alimah Khan and Uzma Khan were also present in the court room. Apart from this, a five-member team led by NAB Prosecutor Muzaffar Abbasi also reached Adiala Jail.

During the hearing, NAB authorities requested for further physical remand of Chairman PTI, which was rejected by the court.

The court rejected the request for physical remand and sent the PTI chief to judicial remand.
