App introduced to find stolen mobiles in Peshawar

According to the CCPO, the mobile seller's name, parentage, identity card and photograph will be stored through the app.

Peshawar: The Peshawar police introduced a mobile application to identify the purchase and sale of stolen or snatched mobile phones.

According to the details, the mobile app called ‘Find My Cell Phone (FMC)’ has been introduced by police for the convenience of people living in Peshawar.

The police claimed that app will make it possible to control the snatching incidents and it will also help to stop the purchase and sale of stolen or snatched mobile phones.

The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) said that a registration form has been released for mobile dealers on the ‘Find My Cell Phone’ app through which the dealers will be able to get the data of stolen mobile phones.

According to the CCPO, the mobile seller's name, parentage, identity card and photograph will be stored through the app.

Apart from this, the data will be alerted on the app of Peshawar Police, Control Room and concerned police station.
