ICC Test Ranking released
Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi have moved up to the fourth and fifth positions respectively after one rank.
Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Wednesday released a new ranking of Test players in which the fast bowler of the Pakistani team, Shaheen Afridi, has been promoted one rank among the bowlers.
According to the ICC, India's Ravichandran Ashwin remains the first in the ranking of Test bowlers.
In the bowlers ranking, South Africa's Kagiso Rabada is in the second position, while Australian captain Pat Cummins and Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi have moved up to the fourth and fifth positions respectively after one rank.
In the new ICC Test rankings, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson remains at the first place, while English batsman Joe Root is second and Australian batsman Steve Smith is at third place.
Babar Azam, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, is fourth in the new rankings.
New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell has moved up one place to the 7th position, while Bangladesh's Mushfiqur Rahim has also moved up four places to the 20th position.
New Zealand's Tim Southee has moved three places to 11th and Australia's Mitchell Starc has moved three places to 10th.
Apart from this, Indian player Ravindra Jadeja is number one in Test all-rounders.
