Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori announced to provide free motorcycles and mobile phones to the victims of street crimes in Karachi.
According to the details, a ceremony was organized to fulfill the wishes of children suffering from incurable diseases at the Governor House of Sindh on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Kamran Tesori said that to get new bikes and mobile phones, victims of street crimes will have to submit their original Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and First Information Reports (FIRs) at the Governor House.
On this occasion, Governor Sindh also announced health insurance, through which citizens will be able to get free treatment for themselves and their families worth up to Rs500,000.
Everyone can benefit from this initiative, provided they fulfill all the requirements, he said.
The Governor of Sindh claimed that since assuming office, he did not ask for anything in return for favors.
Additionally, he highlighted his initiatives including provision of free ration and Iftar to over 500,000 people at the Governor House.
Kamran continued that the citizens will soon be equipped with modern skills through free IT courses and preparations in this regard are in final stages.
