Mumbai: Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan recently marked a significant personal milestone as he undertook the pilgrimage of Umrah in the holy city of Mecca, accompanied by his son.
The 39-year-old, renowned for his noteworthy contributions as a fast bowler in the Indian cricket team, shared a heartfelt moment on his social media account 'X' (formerly Twitter), where he posted an image capturing the spiritual journey with his son by his side.
In the caption accompanying the photo, Pathan expressed his gratitude for achieving the blessed experience of Umrah with his son.
Irfan Pathan made his debut as a fast bowler for the Indian cricket team on December 12, 2003, in a Test match against Australia. His impactful career also extended to One Day Internationals, with his debut in the format taking place on June 9, 2004, once again against Australia.
