PTI, PPP form govt, PML-N does not want to crown thorns: Saad Rafique
The formation of the federal government is the joint responsibility of all the parties in the parliament, not PML-N, he added.
Lahore: The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Saad Rafique Saturday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should form the government with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the center.
Two key leaders of the PML-N have publicly opposed their party's efforts to form a government at the Centre, saying the party has no desire to wear the 'crown of thorns' on its head.
The PML-N leader Saad Rafique stated in his late-night post on social networking website X that no one has absolute majority in the current National Assembly.
The formation of the federal government is the joint responsibility of all the parties in the parliament, not PML-N, he added.
He continued to say that the independent members supported by PTI should take the initiative and form the central government together with the Peoples Party.
Earlier, PML-N leader Javed Latif had wished that PML-N should let those make the government whoever has the majority.
