Khosa says Saad Rafique not responsible for arrest
No road was blocked, it was a peaceful protest, we and our workers were tortured in Lahore yesterday, he added.
Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sardar Latif Khosa Monday said that Khawaja Saad Rafique told him that he is not responsible for his arrest.
Sardar Latif Khosa while talking to the media in Lahore stated that there was no such violence as was done in Punjab. ‘I said that I am Member of National Assembly (MNA), I cannot be arrested without the permission of the Speaker’.
He added that they told me come and talk in the office, after which he went with them and they kept him seated in the room of Station House Officer (SHO) for six hours. They did not misbehave with me.
Latif Khosa continued to say: “Saad Rafique told me that he has no fault in this, cases were registered against our leaders in different police stations. There were also cases registered against Salman Akram Raja for blocking the road”.
If the roads were blocked, then show the CCTV footages. No road was blocked, it was a peaceful protest, we and our workers were tortured in Lahore yesterday, he added.
The PTI leader further said that they will continue to protest for people's right to rule and until they get their mandate, they will not let this government work.
Sardar Khosa also stated that he will also get a kidnapping case against them. Police should tell that on whose instructions they are doing these actions against us.
