Rain: Cities of Sindh, Balochistan plunge into darkness after
According to the Meteorological Department, today there is a possibility of rain in Islamabad, Punjab, KP, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Karachi/Quetta: Rain was recorded in different cities of Sindh and Balochistan.
In many cities of Sindh, including Sukkur, Khairpur and Jacobabad, citizens lost electricity due to rain, while in Larkana, many trees fell due to rain accompanied by strong winds.
On the other hand, clouds rained in the cities of Quetta, Chaman, Mastung, Panchgaur and Nushki in Balochistan, while Nokundi, Machh, Dalbandin and other areas were engulfed by sand storm.
According to the Meteorological Department, today there is a possibility of rain in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and snow on the mountains.
The Met Department stated that during the last 24 hours, 9mm of rain was recorded in Quetta, 7mm in Loralai and 5mm in Pishin.
Weather forecasters stated that the temperature in Ziarat and Quetta recorded 02 degrees Celsius while Kalat recorded 03 degrees Celsius and Zhob recorded 04 degrees Celsius, Nokundi and Barkhan recorded 07 degrees Celsius, Dalbandin 10 degrees Celsius, Panjgur 13 degrees Celsius and Khuzdar 08 degrees Celsius, Gwadar 16 degrees Celsius, and Mara 14 degrees Celsius while in Pasni and Jeuni it has been recorded at 15 degrees Celsius.
Meteorological department stated that according to the report, 17 centigrade was recorded in Sibbi, 11 in Turbat and Lasbela. During the next 24 hours, cloudy and cold weather is expected in most of the districts of the province.
Apart from this, weather forecasters say that the weather has turned cold due to light rain in Attock city and its surroundings. The citizens are happy with the pleasant weather in the month of Ramadan.
