Blast on Japanese citizens' car: Security high alert ordered in Sindh
Zia-ul-Hassan Linjar directed that the communication strategy should be integrated and effective.
Karachi: Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Linjar has issued security high alert orders across Sindh for the time being after an explosion near the car of Japanese citizens in Landhi area of Karachi.
According to the announcement issued by the Sindh Interior Minister's office, Zia-ul-Hasaan said that security measures should be made fool-proof at mosques, imam bargahs and other open places on the occasion of Friday prayers.
The Sindh Interior Minister stated that District Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs), Sub Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) should come to the field.
He added that Station House Officers (SHOs) should be very diligent and alert in security measures, further directed that special focus should be kept on random snap checking, picketing and patrolling.

It is pertinent to note that today there was an explosion near the car of foreign nationals in Mansehra Colony of Landhi area of Karachi, as a result of which two people were killed and three people including two security guards were injured, however, all five Japanese citizens were safe.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) East Asfar Mehsar while talking to the media said that 'an explosion occurred near the car of Japanese citizens today (Friday) morning, a suicide bomber was riding a motorcycle behind this car.'
He admitted that there was a threat that foreign nationals would be targeted, meetings were also held in this regard, the police were also on alert due to the security threat.
SSP said that one terrorist blew himself up and the other terrorist was killed in a police encounter.
