KP govt to approach SC amid reserve seats

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) government has decided to approach Supreme court (SC) against the order of oath taking on reserve seats.
According to the details, a plea likely to filed in SC today (Monday) against the verdict of high court in this regard. The provincial cabinet approved to go to SC through circulation summary.
However, the provincial government has decided not to summon the KP assembly’s session until the verdict of SC.
It should be noted that Peshawar high court (PHC) had ordered cabinet and chief minister to summon assembly session within 14 days and had directed to take oath from minority candidates and women on reserve seats.
