Shehbaz, Maryam leading anti-judiciary campaign: Fawad

Islamabad: Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry Tuesday alleged that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz are leading the anti-judiciary campaign.

Fawad Chaudhary, while talking to the media in Islamabad, said that the decisions of the courts are not being respected. It has become a norm to obstruct everything.

He stated that he heard that Shehbaz Sharif is going to deliver a speech on the conduct of the judiciary in the National Assembly today, such a speech by the Prime Minister would be a violation of the constitution.

The former minister added that Prime Minister Shehbaz could be disqualified for mocking the decisions of the judiciary. After Maryam Nawaz, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Members of National Assembly (MNAs), and Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) are mocking the judiciary. PML-N is attacking the Judiciary, currently there is uncertainty in Pakistan.

Fawad Chaudhry further said that there is a crisis in Pakistan's politics and economy. Now judicial crisis has also been created. Shhbaz and Maryam are leading the anti-judiciary campaign.
