A Supreme Court five-member bench headed by Chief Justice was due for hearing on Monday (today)

Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Sunday delisted the Election Tribunal case due to unavailability of Justice Jamal Mandokhail.
A formal notice regarding the delisting was issued earlier in the day.
A SC five-member bench led by Chief Justice was due to take up the case on August 19 (today).
However, the hearing will not proceed as planned due to Justice Mandokhail’s unavailability.
Besides it, PTI’s lawyer, Salman Akram Raja, had previously requested an adjournment, pointing out that senior lawyer Hamid Khan is out of the country until September 6.
Hamid Khan also submitted a leave application, seeking a postponement of the hearing until his return.
A new hearing date will be determined once the bench is complete and all legal representatives are available.
