Petition said that Imran Khan is not eligible to become the chancellor of a prestigious university like Oxford

London: A petition has been filed in Oxford University against the nomination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan as Chancellor.
According to the media reports, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) activist Khurram Butt, who filed the petition, said that PTI founder Imran Khan is not eligible to become the chancellor of a prestigious university like Oxford. He is involved in financial corruption and has also been convicted in the Toshakhana case for corruption.
Khurram Butt stated that the evidence of corruption has also been submitted to the Vice Chancellor's Office of Oxford University, and the details of the 190 million pounds in Al-Qadir Trust case have also been informed to the university authorities.
He further said that after providing these irrefutable pieces of evidence, it is unlikely that he will be allowed to contest for the chancellorship.
