Pakistan improves by 14 ranks to 136 in e-Governance Index
E-Participation value of Pakistan has also improved and increased from 0.36 to 0.49
Islamabad: In the United Nations e-Government Index, Pakistan has improved by 14 ranks to 136 in e-Governance.
The United Nations e-Governance ranking of countries has been released in which Pakistan has entered the top category for the first time in the e-Government Development Index and has improved by 14 ranks to rank 136 in e-Governance.
According to the documents, two years ago in 2022, the e-governance index of Pakistan was 150.
The documents stated that Pakistan has been ranked 88th in the United Nations e-Participation Index, while two years ago Pakistan was ranked 106th in the e-Participation Index.
According to the document, the e-Participation value of Pakistan has also improved and increased from 0.36 to 0.49.
Speaking in this regard, Minister of State for Information Technology Shaza Fatima said that Pakistan has improved by 14 ranks in the e-government ranking.
Shaza Fatima stated that the role of the Ministry of IT and the National IT Board for e-Government is also commendable.
