PTI protesters reach D-Chowk, heavy security on alert
Convoy of PTI workers and leaders is moving towards D-Chowk
Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters have started reaching D-Chowk where a heavy contingent of security personnel has been deployed.
A convoy of PTI workers and leaders is moving towards D-Chowk, while several PTI workers have also reached there.
Security is tight in and around D-Chowk and it has been decided to arrest those moving towards D-Chowk, while those leading the rally will also be arrested.
Earlier, the PTI convoy passed through G-11 and G-9, where a clash broke out between the police and PTI workers, while both sides were still firing tear gas at each other and PTI workers were also pelting stones at the police.
Earlier, the army was called to the federal capital to deal with the chaos during the PTI protest. They have been directed to shoot the miscreants on the spot.
Moreover, miscreants rammed a vehicle into Rangers personnel on the Srinagar Highway, killing four Rangers personnel and seriously injuring five Rangers and two police personnel.
