Inam Butt bags gold medal in Beach Wrestling World Series
Rome: Pakistani Wrestler Inam Butt added another feather in his cap on Saturday when he defeated the Ukrainian wrestler in the World Beach Wrestling Championship 2021.
Inam not only clinched gold medal, but also maintained his streak of winning Beach Championship and market third consecutive win.
Butt secured the first gold medal at the 21st CommonWealth Games held in 2018.
The Wrestler tweeted a video about his victory and paid gratitude to the Pakistan Wrestling Federation, Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), its director general Asif Zaman and the Federal Minister of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPD) Dr. Fehmida Mirza.
He said, “The PSB, its director and the minister deserve credit in paving the way for my visa approval amidst coronavirus”.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar tweeted: “Congratulations Inam for winning another gold first place medal for Pakistan”.
Whereas the Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti announced Rs 1 Million as a cash prize for Butt.
Cricketers Hassan Ali and Wahab Riaz, and Olympian Talha Talib were jubilant on this win.
