Malinga announces retirement
The Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga announced his retirement from international cricket on Tuesday.
The Lankan fast bowler was considered one of the toughest bowlers to face and has had a significant record of performance in all forms of cricket.
Malinga uploaded a video on YouTube and tweeted about his retirement on Tuesday.
He tweeted, "hanging up my #T20 shoes and #retiring from all forms of cricket! Thankful to all those who supported me in my journey, and looking forward to sharing my experience with young cricketers in the years to come."
Malinga retired with the record of 338 ODI wickets, 13 international five-wicket hauls, and 390 T20 scalps.
