The president assures the delegates of taking all stakeholders on board to revive peace in the port city

Karachi: President Asif Ali Zardari met the MQM-Pakistan leadership in the provincial capital on Wednesday and discussed law and order situation in Karachi.
Led by Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the delegates apprised the president of the current law and order situation in the city. Mustafa Kamal and Dr Farooq Sattar were also part of the delegation. Zardari assured the delegates to get all stakeholders on board to revive peaceful atmosphere in the city.
Earlier, the president had called an important meeting discuss 'worsening' law and order situation in the port city.
According to the details, the meeting was held in Bilawal house at 4pm in which federal interior minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present. Inspector General of Sindh police and other officers also attended the meeting.
