PSL 202: Fakhar star as Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi by 6 wickets
Karachi Kings set 171-run target for Lahore Qalandars.
Karachi: Century of Fakhar Zaman helped Lahore Qalandars to an emphatic seven-wicket win over Karachi Kings in the 6th fixture of the HBL PSL 6 at Karachi’s National Stadium on Sunday.
Chasing 171 to win, Qalandars fulfilled the fans of team. Zaman has completed 1,500 runs in the PSL. The flamboyant batter achieved the feat during the Lahore Qalandars clash against Karachi Kings. He has become the fourth cricketer to achieve the feat. Prior to him, Babar Azam, Kamran Akmal, and Shoaib Malik have achieved the feat.
Mohammad Hafeez has been swiped out after making 24 runs on 21 balls. Imad Wasim has rolled the over adding one more wicket for the Karachi Kings.
Muhammad Nabi has claimed two wickets for Karachi Kings. The batsmen from Lahore Qalandars Abdullah Shafique scored 8 runs on 8 balls while Kamran Ghulam scored 6 runs on 9 balls before they lost their wickets.

After being invited to bat, the Kings scored 170-7 at a run rate of 8.50, but except for the opener, no other batter performed up to the mark.
The Kings were sailing smoothly till the 10th over, but then Qalandars' skipper Shaheen Afridi brought in experienced all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez to bowl.
On his first ball, Hafeez dismissed Sharjeel Khan (60), breaking the 84-run opening stand. After the important wicket, Zaman Khan (15) sent Mohammad Nabi back to the pavilion, and in the 15th over, Rashid Khan was able to get Babar's (41) wicket.
The Qalandars' bowlers performed sensationally, with Haris Rauf picking up three wickets, while Hafeez, Rashid, Zaman, and Shaheen picking up a scalp each.
Earlier, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bowl first against Karachi Kings in the sixth match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) seventh edition 2022 at National Stadium Karachi.
Sahibzada Farhan and Umaid Asif have been called up for the Karachi Kings, while Mohammad Imran and Tom Lammonby have been dropped. No changes in Lahore Qalandars squad.
