Heavy rain with snow is expected at isolated places in Kashmir and its adjoining areas
Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday predicted cold and dry weather in most plain areas of the country, while very cold in upper parts during the next 12 hours.
However, rain with snow over the hills is expected at isolated places in Kashmir and its adjoining areas.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad 6 degree centigrade, Lahore 7, Karachi 19, Peshawar and Muzafarabad 5, Quetta and Murree -1, Gilgit 1 degree centigrade.
According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar cloudy/chances of rain, Jammu Cold and dry/foggy, Leh clody/chances of rain-snow, Pulwama and Baramula partly cloudy/chances of light-rain and Anantnag and Shopian Cloudy/chances of light-rain.
Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama and Anantnag 0 degree centigrade, Jammu 6, Leh minus 8, Shopian and Baramula -1 degree centigrade.
