Two terrorists arrested during CTD operation in Khanewal
Arms, ammunition and banned literature seized
Khanewal: Two terrorists were arrested during an operation conducted by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday.
According to details, the operation was carried out on a tip off in Mian Chunnu, Khanewal near the western bypass.
The CTD statement said that the arrested terrorists belonged to the banned organization Daesh. They were identified as Riyaz Ahmed and Imran Haider.
During the operation, CTD seized explosives, weapons and huge cache of ammunition and banned literature from the possession of the detained terrorists.
The security official further told that a case has been registered against the terrorists and inquiry is underway.
