Karachi: Quetta Gladiators produced a stunning run-chase to defeat Lahore Qalandars by seven wickets in the last match of the Karachi-leg of the ongoing seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the National Cricket Stadium Karachi on Monday.

Jason Roy helped Gladiators to chase mammoth 205-run target. The Gladiators star opener Jason Roy scored a blistering 57-ball 116 to help Gladiators chase the 205 run target.

Another England batter, James Vince, was also exceptional in the Gladiators run-chase as he scored 49 runs.

Mohammad Nawaz also scored 25 runs and hit a big six when four runs were needed off four balls.

Haris Rauf, David Wiese, and Kamran Ghulam took a wicket each but could not dismantle the Gladiators batting line-up.

Lahore Qalandars made a slow start to the match initially. But the Qalandars batting, led by Fakhar Zaman, managed to set a mammoth 205-run target for the Gladiators to chase.

Fakhar was exceptional yet again as he scored a 45-ball 70 before getting bowled by Ghulam Mudassir.

Fakhar's opening partner Abdullah Shafique and lower-order batter Harry Brook scored 32 and 41 runs, respectively.

Ghulam Mudassir was the only stand-out bowler for Quetta Gladiators as he took two crucial wickets of Ghulam Mudassir and Mohammad Hafeez.

Quetta Gladiators will be under extreme pressure as the Gladiators will be facing world-class bowling of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Rashid Khan, and Zaman Khan.
