Lahore: The Punjab police have arrested six more principle accused in Mian Channu lynching case. A total 21 main accused and 102 suspected has so for been arrested.
The lynching occurred just 10 weeks after a Sri Lankan national was brutally killed by an angry mob in Sialkot.
According to a spokesman, police teams have been conducting raids throughout the night to nab more accused.
The newly arrested accused are Sadabahar, Matlob, Rafaqat, Ansar Hussain son of Muhammad Nawaz, Ansar Hussain son of Sadiq and Muhammad Shafiq.

According to the spokesman, the arrested accused could been seen evoking the citizens to resort to violence with sticks and bricks on the victim.
Action is being taken against them under the provisions of terrorism and serious crimes.
Inspector General of Punajb Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan, speaking on the occasion, said police teams are conducting operations to arrest all the accused involved in Khanewal tragedy and arrest all miscreants involved in the tragic incident.
He said investigation into all aspects of the incident was underway and the ruthless accused would be punished.
