Indian Court issues summons to Shilpa Shetty, sister and mother
After Kundra case, Shilpa Shetty seems to have landed in yet another legal trouble
Shilpa Shetty Kundra, her sister Shamita Shetty and their mother Sunanda Shetty have been summoned by Andheri magistrate court.
According to the Indian media, a businessman has accused them of not repaying a loan of Rs 21 lakh, which was allegedly taken by Shilpa's father Surendra Shetty.
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra made her acting come back with Priyadarshan's Hungama 2 after a long hiatus. However, the film failed to make a mark. More than her professional projects, the India's Got Talent judge has been in the news for her personal life controversies.
From her husband Raj Kundra's arrest in a pornography case to the development in 2007 obscenity and cheating case filed against her, Shilpa has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Now, the actress seems to have landed in yet another legal trouble.
Mumbai's Andheri magistrate court has reportedly issued summons to Shilpa Shetty Kundra, her sister Shamita Shetty and their mother Sunanda Shetty. They have been accused of not repaying a loan of Rs 21 lakh to a businessman. The summons were issued to the trio on Friday after an FIR was lodged against them at the Juhu police station. The complaint has been filed by a businessman named Parhad Amra.
As per a report by ANI, Parhad has alleged non-repayment of Rs 21 lakh loan by Shilpa Shetty, sister Shamita and mother Sunanda. In the complaint, he said that the loan was taken by Shilpa and Shamita's father, Surendra Shetty. Parhad, who is reportedly an automobile agency owner, said that Shilpa's father had borrowed the money in 2015. He had allegedly promised to repay it in January 2017, however, the Shettys are now refusing to repay the amount. The loan was allegedly given to Shilpa and her father's firm Corgifts.
