Islamabad: The federal government has decided not to file a reference against Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal in connection with cases against journalist Mohsin Baig.
Attorney-General for Pakistan Khalid Javed said Prime Minister Imran Khan had not issued any directions to file a reference against the Additional Sessions Judge.
The prosecution has the right to appeal against the court's decision, he added.
It may be recalled that the court had declared the raid on the house of Mohsin Baig by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) illegal.
