Kings had set 149-run target for Qalandars
Lahore: Karachi Kings has won its first match in the Pakistan Super League by defeating Lahore Qalandars by 22 runs.
Abdullah Shafiq scored 8 runs, Fakhr Zaman 1 run and Kamran Ghulam 13 runs for Ahur Qandars. While Mohammad Hafeez was dismissed for 33 runs. Harry Brock was dismissed for 26 runs while David was dismissed for 31 runs.
Mir Hamza took 4 wickets for Karachi Kings, Emad Wasim took 1 wicket and Chris Jordan took 2 wickets.
Karachi Kings were bowled out for 149 runs and Lahore Qalandars were given a target of 150 runs to win.
Babar Azam and Qasim Akram scored 39 and 26 runs respectively for Karachi Kings. Apart from them, no batsman was able to stay on the wicket.
Rashid Khan took four wickets for Lahore Qalandars, Zaman Khan also took four wickets while Shaheen Afridi took one wicket.
It may be recalled that Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam won the toss and invited Lahore Qalandars to bat first.
