Lahore Qalandars on Sunday bagged their first-ever Pakistan Super League (PSL) title.


Lahore: Putting up a magnificent performance, Lahore Qalandars on Sunday thrashed Multan Sultans by 42 runs, bagging their first-ever Pakistan Super League (PSL) title.
Shaheen Shah Afridi led Lahore Qalandars to their maiden Pakistan Super League title last night by defeating Mohammed Rizwan's Multan Sultans.
Defending a 181-run target at the Gaddafi Stadium, Qalandars won the final match by 42 runs successfully. Lahore’s win also means that all six PSL franchises have now won the elusive trophy—at least once.
After struggling so many years, the win also helped Shaheen Afridi to become the youngest captain to win a T20 league trophy—breaking Indian star Rohit Sharma’s record.
