Fast pacer was about to join the Test squad ahead of the Australian series


Fast pacer Haris Rauf Tuesday tested positive for COVID-19 after ending the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
As per sources, Haris Rauf has isolated himself.
It is noteworthy here that Haris Rauf was about to join the Test squad ahead of the Australian series, but when the pacer undergone the rapid antigen test (RAT) test, he turned out to be COVID positive.
It is relevant to note that in the historical home series against Australia, the first match will be kick start on March 4 from Pindi stadium, followed by the second test in Karachi’s National stadium and the third in Lahore’s Gaddafi stadium.
"Further details will be provided in due course," the board added.
The three-match Test series will kickstart on March 4 in Rawalpindi, while the city police have finalised security arrangements, and over 4,000 policemen will be deployed for the event.
Last week, the PCB had announced minor changes to the 15-man squad after all-rounders Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali were ruled out of the series due to injuries.
