New westerly system enters Sindh


Karachi: The Met Office has predicted a drizzle with strong winds in Karachi today, Wednesday, March 2.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, a westerly system entered Sindh from Balochistan Tuesday night. “Under the influence, Karachi will receive light showers with gusty winds.”
The winds will be strong and dusty with light rain.
Earlier, experts had said Karachi is bidding a farewell to winters and warned of sunny days ahead. The mercury is expected to reach 30 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, up north, a new series of rain and snowfall has started, especially in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu, and Kashmir. The Met Office has forecast rain in Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Rajanpur, and other areas of South Punjab today. The weather will stay chilly in Murree and Galiyat, Quetta, Zhob, and Barkhan too.
