Four burned to death in fatal car crash near Taxila
Rescue 1122 officials say the bodies are beyond recognition and have been shifted to PIMS hospital
Islamabad: Four people were burned to death after their car fell into a ditch and caught fire near Taxila early on Monday, GNN reported.
Rescue 1122 officials said the driver, who was driving on G T Road, apparently lost control over steering. The car caught fire soon after plunging into the ditch and occupiers suffered severe burns.
Officials said the bodies were beyond recognition and were shifted to the PIMS hospital.
In Shikarpur a motorcyclist was killed and another injured after a car hit them on the National Highway near Rustam Chowk.
The deceased and injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital. The deceased has been identified as Kalu Khan.
The injured man was referred to Sukkur due to critical condition after he received initial medical treatment at the Civil Hospital.
The car driver fled the scene. Police have begun investigation.
