The PDM chief says PPP has accepted his invitation to participate in the long march on March 23

Islamabad: Pakistan Democratic Movement chief Maulana Fazlru Rehman and Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari discussed no-confidence motion and prevailing political situation on Wednesday.
Earlier Zardari arrived at Fazl's residence in Islamabad.
Talking to media after the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said PPP had accepted his invitation to participate in the long march on March 23.
The PDM chief said he had to go to Asif Ali Zardari to invite him but he came himself and he said that he had already accepted his (Fazl's) invitation.
On the other hand, a meeting of opposition leaders was held at the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman in which former president Asif Ali Zardari, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other leaders were present.
According to sources, the opposition leaders expressed satisfaction over the progress made on the confidence motion.
Sources said the leaders discussed in the meeting that all the government allies would join hands with the opposition for a lasting democratic journey.
According to sources, it was agreed in the meeting that all the opposition parties would participate in the long march.
