Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said the declaration of 15th March as an international day against Islamophobia by the United Nations is the result of the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In a statement on Thursday, he thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for acknowledging ambassador Munir Akram and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' efforts in this regard.
Commenting on the current political situation of the country, he asked the Election Commission of Pakistan to take notice of horse-trading. He said the opposition is openly accepting horse-trading in a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
