Massive fire breaks out in Sialkot’s Garrison ammunition shed: ISPR
As per Pakistan Army, there were no causalities or damage to property.
Sialkot: A massive fire broke out at an ammunition depot in the cantonment area of Sialkot Garrison on Sunday (today), said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to armed forces' media wing, the huge blaze arose following an electricity short-circuit.
There was no damage to property or loss of life following effective and timely response, said military’s media wing.
The blaze caused several explosions, however, the damages were contained and the fire has been extinguished.
The sound of the blast was reportedly heard near the cantonment area.
Several purported visuals have surfaced on social media with local Twitter users reporting the incident.
