Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain Sunday said notices have been issued to dissident Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members and they have been asked to clarify their position within seven days.

In a tweet, the minister said after one week, the seats of all these members will be declared vacant and they will be disqualified for life.

The Minister said new members are being nominated for the reserved seats.

Yesterday, PTI served show-cause notice, signed by party Secretary General Asad Umar, to 14 dissident members on Saturday.

The show cause notice sought clarification from the deviant members.
