Arrangements completed for session of OIC-CFMs: Qureshi
The Foreign Minister said Pakistan will get the chairmanship of the OIC tomorrow for a period of one year.
Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Monday said arrangements have been completed for the session of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers.
In a statement on Monday, the minister said the Chinese Foreign Minister who will be special guest at the OIC moot, is arriving today.
The Foreign Minister said Pakistan will get the chairmanship of the OIC tomorrow for a period of one year.
He said bilateral meetings will also be held on the sidelines of the OIC meeting.
Commenting on the political situation, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said a meeting of PTI's political committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today. He said we do not want any confrontation and no member will be stopped from exercising his right to vote. He said the government will face no confidence motion in a constitutional manner.
