BTS makes surprise Oscars appearance to praise Disney films

Seoul: Global sensation BTS made a surprise appearance at the Oscars 2022 with a pre-recorded segment called ‘Favorite Film Musical with BTS’. The group praised Disney and Pixar animated films.
According to details, the renowned K-POP group wasn't present at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. However, BTS members are gearing up for their US travel for their Las Vegas concert next month.
They extended their Permission to Dance on Stage by four shows at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will perform live on April 8, April 9, April 15, and April 16 at the venue.

Then 2017’s film Coco was played on the screen following which BTS’ main dancer Jimin cited ‘Coco’ as one of his favorites, to which the leader of the group RM added, “It’s a real masterpiece. I watched it three times and I cried a lot,” reports ‘Variety’.
“Truly, Pixar is unbelievable,” said V—main vocalist.
“Disney movies stimulate emotion well,” Jin, the eldest of the group, added.
BTS main dancer, J-Hope, then added, “I really liked ‘Aladdin”.
BTS’ appearance came during the Oscar telecast after Disney won a couple prizes at the ceremony.
As soon as the video went viral, BTS fans know as ARMY couldn’t control their excitement and started a whole twitter fest, with hashtags such as #BTS in Oscars, # OscarsWithBTS.
