Within next 72 hours, Pakistan’s political situation to become clear: Rasheed
Wasn’t aware of letter showed by Prime Minister during Pakistan’s historic Parade Ground rally, says Sheikh Rasheed
Islamabad: Minister for Interior Affairs Sheikh Rasheed Monday said that political situation of the country will become clearer within next 72 hours.
While addressing a press conference, the Interior Minister said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari is specialized in horse trading, adding that market of ‘buying and selling’ is at its peak for some days.
While talking about no-confidence motion, the minister said that voting will be held on March 4 if bill presented today.
“The opposition must bring 172 members of National Assembly,” he added.
While referring to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) rally, Sheikh Rasheed said that there are just few people who are participating in the rally. He also stated that PML-N’s rally have more security staff than party workers.
The former Railway Minister further added that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) is not permitted to hold rallies.
While reiterating his support to Prime Minister Imran Khan, the minister said that he is standing firm with the Premier.
“Imran Khan will not lose hope and will play till last ball,” he said, adding that Imran’s politics cannot be ousted.
While responding to a question asked by a journalist, Sheikh Rasheed said that he is not aware of the letter which was showed by the prime minister during Parade Ground rally.
“I am not a spokesperson on national institutions; I am just a supporter,” Sheikh Rasheed clarified.
He also said that establishment is just with Pakistan.
