4 BAP lawmakers to stand with Opposition in non-confidence motion against PM Imran: Shahbaz
Asif Ali Zardari says Shahbaz Sharif will be made the prime minister soon
Islamabad: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif claimed on Monday that four Balochistan Awami Party MNAs will stand with the Opposition in the non-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The announcement came at a joint press conference of PML-N, PPP and BAP leaders.
On the occasion, BAP leaders announced to quit the federal government. BAP lawmaker Zubaida Jalal, who is sitting defence production minister, was not present in the press confernece.
Opposition leaders Mualana Fazlur Rehman, Shahbaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari thanked BAP leaders to announce support for the no-trust motion.
"We will ensure Balochistan's development," the leaders vowed.
BNP-M chief Akhtar Mengal said the incumbent government has ignored Balochistan and didn't pay attention to the province's issues.
