Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday has dismissed a plea seeking disqualification of Punjab Law and Cooperatives Minister Raja Basharat.

According to details, the plea was filed by petitioner Muhammad Aslam who maintained that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader had submitted fake affidavit with his nomination papers.
While dismissing the plea, Punjab member of electoral body Altaf Qureshi said that the plea against Raja Basharat is filed after three long years.
