'PM Imran has won, date for his address to nation to be decided later': Faisal Javed
Says the address has been cancelled because of the premier's meetings
Islamabad: Senator Faisal Javed Khan Wednesday said the new date for Prime Minister Imran Khan's televised address to the nation would be decided later.
Talking to reporters in Islamabad, he claimed Prime Minister Imran Khan had won the {no-confidence motion}.
"Nothing will happen whatever the Opposition says so," he added.
The Senator said the speech was postponed due to meetings of Prime Minister Imran Khan, adding soon there would be good news that the Prime Minister had succeeded.
Khan made it clear that neither the prime minister had resigned, nor had there been any such consultation.
"The premier will thwart this conspiracy. The Opposition will not be able to complete its numbers. The whole nation stands by Imran Khan."
Soon after reaching Lahore, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi called a big meeting, he added.
Quoting the "threat letter", the Senator said if the Prime Minister is removed, there will be no crisis.
"This is an attack on Pakistan and independent foreign policy. Pakistan will decide with its own interests in mind."
