There's no truth in PM Imran's statement: US State Department spokesman
"We are monitoring the progress in Pakistan"
Washington: The US State Department responded to Prime Minister Imran Khan's statement on late Thursday, saying there is no truth in the allegations.
"We are monitoring the progress in Pakistan," the spokesman further said.
He said the US paid respect to the constitutional process and rule of law in Pakistan.
Reacting to the PM's statement the US government categorically rejected any kind of involvement in the no-trust motion against PM Imran, saying the allegations of the US involvement are baseless.
“Allegations of US involvement in the no-trust motion and ‘threat letter’ to PM Imran Khan are baseless,” said the State Department.
