Deputy Speaker will assume the office as interim Governor Punjab.
Lahore: The Federal government has dismissed Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, GNN reported on Sunday.
According to details, Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has been dismissed from his post of Governor Punjab while the appointment of a new provincial governor will be announced later.
As per the Constitution of Pakistan, Deputy Speaker will assume the office as interim Governor Punjab.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday said that government will announce the new appointee later on.
