Deputy speaker adjourned session till indefinite time period


Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif said on Sunday that Article-6 will be applied on Prime Minister Imran and Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar.
According to details, large number of opposition members were present in the National Assembly to cast their votes against Prime Minister Imran Khan in no-confidence motion. On the other hand, government personalities were also present in the assembly.
The session of National Assembly was presided by Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri. Opportunity was given to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry for expressing his views. He said that there is an international conspiracy behind no-confidence motion and presented a resolution under Article-5 seeking cancelation of no-confidence motion.
Deputy Speaker approved the resolution of Fawad Chaudhry and termed the no-confidence motion as against the constitution. The deputy speaker adjourned the session till indefinite time period.
