LHC directs deputy speaker of Punjab Assembly to conduct elections of Punjab Chief Minister on April 16

Lahore: while giving verdict on pleas regarding the election of Punjab Chief Minister, the Lahore High Court (LHC) declared on Wednesday that election will be held on April 16 (Saturday).
Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Ameer Bhatti announced the verdict. The court directed the deputy speaker of Punjab Assembly to conduct elections of Punjab Chief Minister on April 16. The court has also restored the authority of Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari.
