Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan on Tuesday decided that it would grant a four-day holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
As per the report, the holidays will fall from May 2 to May 5 — marking the four days of Eid festival.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the Eid holidays with effect from 2nd to 5th of the next month.
Astronomers had predicted that Eid ul Fitr is likely to be celebrated on Tuesday (May 3), saying the Shawwal moon may not be sighted anywhere in the country on the evening of 29 Ramazan.
